Yes, you can cancel PayPal payment within some east steps but off-course you can only cancel certain types of payments on PayPal, not every payment you made. Basically, a payment only cancels till then the receiver not claimed it, once he claimed the payment or received it, surely you cannot cancel the payment. If the receiver has received the money but you know that payment was wrong and you want your money back in anyway so you need to ask for a refund or to dispute the charge with the company itself, that’s warranted.

Go to paypal.com in a web browser and login if you’re not automatically logged in. Click login in the upper right corner of the window>enter your email address and password to log in.

Click Settings (gear type icon) in the upper-right corner of the window.

Click the payment tap now. You can find the payment tap near the top-center of the Window. To manage your payment click manage pre-approved payments. Here you can find every payment you made on PayPal.

Click the payment you’d like to cancel. You may need to click on Next Page in the bottom-right corner of the window to find the payment you’re looking for if you have multiple recurring payments.

Click Cancel appearing next to “Status” under “Billing Details.” Click “Yes” to confirm. This confirms the cancellation of the recurring payment.

If there is any pending payment or any payment that has not claimed so you can cancel the payment. Let’s see how you can cancel the pending or unclaimed payment on PayPal:

Go to paypal.com in a web browser and login if you’re not automatically logged in. Click login in the upper right corner of the window>enter your email address and password to log in.

Click on the tap “Activity” at the top of the screen and scroll down to locate the payment you want to cancel.

Note: If the payment you want to cancel is in the “Completed” section of the activity tab. The payee has already received the payment, and it cannot be canceled or refunded. If you want to get your money back you must request a refund or contract the resolution center.

Now, verify the payment is unclaimed.  At the bottom of the transaction dialog box, you’ll see a message that (Username) hasn’t yet” next to a Cancel link.

Click “Cancel” and then click the “Cancel Payment” button to confirm. Your payment has been canceled.

If you cannot initiate a PayPal payment cancellation, you need to get in touch with PayPal customer support and ask them to refund your payment. PayPal customer care service does not provide the callback number so you need to do email them using the address associated with their PayPal.

Unfortunately, you can’t reverse or cancel every PayPal transaction you made. If any payment’s been completed so you cannot cancel that payment in any way. Payment can only be canceled if it’s marked as Pending or Unclaimed on its Transaction details page.
