How to Delete Email Account on PC

If you are operating a PC and you want to delete your email from your PC, no problem, you can do it on your PC, Computer, Mac or etc. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Go to the Google management page on your browser. To do so, click on the grid next to your user icon (containing an image or letter of your Google account name). Doing so will open a menu, select “Manage your Google Account” from the menu.

2. Once you are in Google Account, select “Data Personalization” from the navigation panel. You can find this option left side or top of your window).

3. In the new window, scroll to find the section that says “Download, delete, or make a plan for your data” and select “Delete a service or your account.”

4. On the new screen, find the section that says “Delete a Google service”. And choose “Delete a service.”

5. Now, here you’ll be prompted to sign in to your Google to confirm your identity or we can say for security purposes. Sign in to the Google account you have your Gmail account under to proceed. Doing so will open the new screen, find the Gmail account you want to delete. And choose “Delete”, then follow the on-screen instruction to finalize the account deletion.

1. Open the Setting app on your Android device and scroll down to find the Google section of your settings.  Once you are in the Google settings, find the “Google Account: and select it.

2. Find and select the “Data Personalization” tab from the top menu and then scroll down to get the option that says “Download. Delete, make a plan for your data” and select “Delete a service or your account.”

Note: Make sure that you have backed-up all your emails or data which is in your emails before deleting your email account.

3. On this page, select “Delete a Google Service” and it will prompt you to sign in to your Google account for security reasons. 

4. Now, find “Gmail” and choose the Trash Can icon, then follow any remaining instructions from Google.

IOS device doesn’t have OS-level Google settings, you’ll need to install the Gmail app on your device to delete your Gmail account. Or, you can also use a web browser using the instructions for PC or Computers listed above.

1. Open the Gmail app and open the menu. From the menu, choose Setting –Your Account-Manage your Google Account. Here, you need to select the “Data Personalization” from the navigation panel.

2. On the new page, find the option that says “Download. Delete, make a plan for your data” and select “Delete a service or your account.” On the following screen, hit “Delete a service.”

3. It will prompt you to verify your identity by re-confirm the password for your account as we did in other processes. Next, find Gmail and choose Delete, then head to the instructions provided by Google.
