How to delete a comment on Instagram from your PC or mobile phones

There is always some exception in deleting comments, for example, you can delete anyone’s comment on one of your posts, but you can only delete your own comment on someone else’s post. Let’s see how to delete either kind of comment.

Open your Instagram on your iPhone or Android phone and login if you aren’t already logged in. Find the post with the comment you want to delete the comment.

1. Tap either the comment icon or any comment under the post. iPhone users need to swipe left over the comment they want to delete to isolate it; Android users should click and hold the comment to select it.

2. Doing so will open a three options bar, “Report”, “Delete”, or “Cancel”.  You can select “Report” if there is any harsh comment and you want to report that comment so you can report that comment. Otherwise, click the trash icon to delete your comment. Now you can see comment will be deleted.

1. Open your Window or PC and visit Instagram.com, login if required, and find the post with the comment you want to delete.

2. Click over the post, hover your cursor over the comment and you will see three dots appear in the right corner of the comment, click three dots, and select delete. Your comment has been deleted now.

1. Login in to your Instagram account and click on the profile button on the bottom right, doing so will bring you on your Instagram account. Here you can see all your post.

1. Visit Facebook.com on your computer’s web browser. This will open your Facebook News Feed if you’re logged in.

4. Doing so will prompt the three dots icon to the right of the comment. Click on these three dots, if you are deleting your own comment, a drop-down menu will appear, and otherwise, a pop-up window will appear.

5. Select Delete to delete the comment you want.  If you are deleting your own comment, you’ll click “Delete” in the drop-down menu before clicking the blue Delete button.

1. Open the Facebook app on your phone and click on your profile section (shown your photo). Tap on photos where you can find all your post or if you want to delete your own comment on others’ posts, then scroll to the profile section and find the particular post.

2. Once you find the post, open the comment section. The comment section may appear below the post, click on comment.

3. Tap and hold the comment, doing so will prompt a menu to appear after a second.  Select Delete from the menu and the comment will be deleted now.
